Experience the famous Victoria Falls, a wildlife safari in Hwange and at Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe. Hwange National Park is the largest and most popular park in Zimbabwe. It offers excellent wildlife viewing, and most big safari animals can be seen, including the Big Five

The Itinerary:

You’ll be collected from the airport.
Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

Day 1-2: Victoria Falls Visit
From Victoria Falls International Airport you will be met and transferred by our representative, for about 20 minutes drive to the town of Victoria Falls to your lodge called Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. The lodge is 1.3 miles from the Victoria Falls and is set in lush gardens with large verandas where you can sit and relax and have indoor or outdoor dining.

On site there is 2 restaurants and we recommend you pre-book The Boma restaurant. You can also sit on the large wooden deck in the main area which has fantastic views over a watering hole where many elephants came down to drink water.

We have also arranged for a guided tour of the Falls and a sunset sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River, both of these activities are must do’s in Victoria Falls. You can then tick this off your bucket list. For the Tour of the Falls there is nothing like standing at the magnificent falls and feeling the never-ending spray.

Day 3-5: Safari begins
After breakfast you will be collected and driven about 2 to 3 hours scenic drive through the Hwange National Park to start your wildlife safari for the safari adventure to your lodge called The Hide.

Your rate also includes teas/coffees, laundry, wi-fi and all activities which are flexible to suit each visitor and you can have drives at night with a sundowner stop, morning and afternoon game drives, birding, walking in the bush with your guide or sit at the popular watering hole in front of the camp. There is no limit to the number of activities you can have with experienced guides. It is not uncommon to see herds of impala and the Big 5 animals in Hwange which is Zimbabwe’s largest national park.

Day 6-8: Lake Kariba
After your morning game drive and breakfast at the camp, take a short drive to the airstrip in Hwange and then take a 1 1/2 hour flight to Kariba for the next leg of your safari experience in northern Zimbabwe. This area is known as an unspoilt safari paradise in the heart of Lake Kariba and the lodge itself is on 4km of lakeshore frontage which makes this a unique safari experience as there is morning and afternoon game drives, fishing for Tiger fish, Gorge trips, Boat trips on Lake Kariba which is one of the most popular activities and also game walks with guides. The boat cruise we highly recommend doing at the end of your day so you can see an unforgettable sunset.

Day 9: Departure
After a morning activity and breakfast at the lodge, you wave goodbye to the lodge and Lake Kariba and take a short drive back to the airport and then take a 2 hour flight back to Victoria Falls for the end of your fantastic trip in Zimbabwe seeing 3 areas which are all highlights.
