8 Days Entebbe to Bwindi National Park Cycling Tour

This short biking expedition in Uganda gives you chance to experience the best of Uganda in 8 days. You will bike on the shores of Lake Victoria with great stunning views, Lake Mburo, Lake Bunyonyi and later trek Gorillas in world famous Bwindi National park.

Price: from $1600 per person

DAY 1.Meet at the hotel Entebbe in the evening for pre-departure meeting with your biking guide. The Guide will discuss the whole biking tour, you will get chance to ask questions regarding the tour. Overnight and dinner at the lodge.

DAY 2.Short biking from the hotel to admire the stunning views over the hills then drive to Lake Mburo National park for game game drive, boat safari and bike past wildlife. Overnight and dinner at the lodge.

DAY 3.Morning bike past wildlife and birds then long drive to Kabale District, we will pass road side markets, cultivated farms with great views to Kabale town. Overnight and dinner at the lodge.

DAY 4.Drive over the hills then bike downhill to Lake Bunyonyi fresh water lake with great views. Later go for swimming and boat safari to visit pygmies living on the shores of the lake. Overnight and dinner on the shores of the beautiful lake. Overnight and dinner on the shores of the lake.

DAY 5.Early morning bike on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi to Kisoro village, the base for trekking Mountain Gorillas, we will bike past local villages, chance to meet and chat to local people along the way. Overnight and dinner on the edge of Bwindi National park

DAY 6.Early morning trek Mountain Gorillas in thick Bwindi Forest with the help of local guides and park rangers. The trekking time may vary between 3 to 8 hrs depending on the location of the Gorillas. Please note that Uganda Wildlife Authority only allows 8 people per group to view the Gorillas for only 60 minutes, this is to avoid spread of diseases as the Gorillas shares 90% genes with human. Packed lunch will be provided on the trek. The park rangers will brief you on how to behave on the trek. Overnight and dinner on the edge of the park.

DAY 7.Drive to Mbarara town. Overnigt and dinner in a lodge before driving the next day to Entebbe.

DAY 8.Drive to Entebbe arriving late evening for group dinner. The tour ends at the hotel in Entebbe.
