This magnificent tour includes the wonder of Victoria Falls, some of the best game viewing in the country experienced in Hwange National Park and the spectacular Matobo National Park. Victoria Falls has a large variety of activities including white-water rafting, elephant interaction, Zambezi river cruises, and many more. Game viewing in Hwange is a magical experience and Matobo is known for its rich human history, San Bushman paintings, diverse flora, wildlife and rugged terrain.

Day 1-2: Victoria Falls Safari Lodge – Victoria Falls
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, your transfer operator will collect you and proceed on a leisurely 15-minute drive to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. This stunning lodge is built on a plateau overlooking the Zambezi National Park. It offers a unique wildlife experience and is only 4km from the incredible Victoria Falls. It has been voted as the “Best Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe” for 20 years! The lodge rises over several levels which makes it feels like a luxury treehouse and the rooms have private balconies, some overlooking the central waterhole. Dining takes place at the a-la-carte MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant and The Boma Dinner & Drum Show.
During the two days in Victoria Falls, you will be able to choose from an array of activities including white-water rafting, a tour of the falls, bungee jumping, a river cruise and more! The tour includes a complimentary dinner at the Boma & MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurants as well as a “vulture culture” lunch. All other activities are at an additional cost.

Day 3-4: Ivory Lodge – Hwange National Park
After being collected by your transfer operator, you will be driven to Ivory Lodge in Hwange National Park. Hwange is Zimbabwe’s biggest reserve, home to a profusion of wildlife and provides a sanctuary to all the country’s endangered species.
Ivory Lodge is a small, intimate lodge featuring treehouses set on elevated platforms. Deep in the mystical teak forests of Hwange, is this unobtrusive camp. It is here that great herds of elephants are found, sometimes over 100 strong. You will have the opportunity to take part in daily game drives and guided walks, as well as ample time to relax at the lodge and enjoy being in such stunning and restful surroundings.
The food is magnificent and the lodge sits elegantly over the floodlit waterhole, providing plenty of opportunities during the day and night to enjoy the stunning wildlife.

Day 5-6: Amalinda Lodge – Matobo National Park
After breakfast at Ivory Lodge, you will be collected by your transfer operator and driven to Amalinda Lodge. Idyllically located in the spectacular Matobo National Park, is an African-inspired refuge called Amalinda Lodge. It is here that world-class facilities combine with spiritual energy, allure and unique beauty – something for which the Matobo Hills is celebrated.
This unique camp is nestled amongst the granite domes and castle kopjes of the Matobo Hills, which are among the most majestic rock sceneries in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Amalinda consists of 9 individually thatched rooms including 3 honeymoon suites, 3 family rooms, 2 double rooms & 1 single room, which are all set into the huge boulders. Each room is steeped in African historical artefacts and tucked away into an ancient bushman’s shelter. The lodge’s charm will leave a magical impression on every visitor.

Day 7: End of Tour
You will be transferred from Amalinda Lodge to Bulawayo International Airport (approximately 45 minutes) for your outbound flight. This will complete your Victoria Falls, Hwange and Matobo Hills experience.
